Map Results Help
The following sections describe the various controls available to view the
results.
Zooming and Panning
Use the zoom & pan controls to display different parts of the data. Pan
percent, zoom magnification and zoom anchor can all be adjusted.
The zoom anchor is the point at which the search rectangle grows from or
shrinks to during a zoom. The zoom anchor point is selected by clicking on one
of the buttons in the 3x3 zoom anchor box. To zoom, select the zoom amount and
anchor, then click the "in" or "out" magnifying glass.
To pan, select the desired pan percentage and click on one of the directional
arrows surrounding the map.
Each zoom or pan initiates a new FME translation process.
The bounding box enclosing the actual features returned is shown as a
dashed grey rectangle in the image.
Attribute Display
Click on a feature to display its attributes in a separate, popup panel.
Click the panel's "OK" button to dismiss it.
Viewing the Translation Log
Click on "Translation Log" to see full details of the FME's translation.
Translating to Other Formats
Use the "Download as:" pulldown list to set other output formats instead of
GIF. Choosing from this list and clicking the "Download" button causes the
area displayed in the GIF to be retranslated to the selected format. Once
complete, a page is displayed containing a clickable link which can be used to
download the results in a zip file to the local browser system.
